It's important to stay up to date on the latest information and be reminded of any tasks that need to be actioned, so that you are always on top of your game. With iAuditor, you can receive notifications for responses in inspections; action assignments and updates; incident (beta) reports and updates; as well as scheduled inspection reminders. This article shows how you can customize your settings, to receive either push, email, or SMS notifications, on both the web app and the mobile app.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Sensor notifications or alerts are set up separately to account notification settings. Learn how you can create and customize sensor alerts.
Customize notifications
Web app
If you are an administrator, you can also customize notification settings for your team, with the exception of adding mobile numbers, which can only be done by the users themselves.
- Log in to the iAuditor web app.
- Click your username on the lower-left corner of the page.
- Select "Account Settings".
- Click the “Notifications” tab on the top of the page, below your username.
- To receive SMS notifications, click "Edit" on the right-hand side of “Mobile number”.
- Select your country code and enter your mobile phone number.
- Click "Save and send verification code".
- IMPORTANT NOTE
- You need to enter the received verification code in the next step to finalize the process to add mobile number for SMS notifications. Otherwise your mobile number will not be saved.
- To customize the notification settings, click "Edit" on the right-hand side of "Notification Settings".
- Adjust your notification settings accordingly.
- Click "Save changes" on the bottom of the page once you are finished. This change applies to all other platforms.
Mobile app: iOS
- Log in to iAuditor on your mobile device.
- Tap on “… More” at the bottom of your screen.
- Tap on “Settings”.
- Swipe to the NOTIFICATION section.
- Select the notification type you wish to adjust: Push, Email, or SMS.
- Toggle settings on/off accordingly. Changes apply to all other platforms when the app syncs.
- IMPORTANT NOTE
- If you are having trouble receiving push notifications, they may be disabled on your phone. Learn how to enable push notifications for your iOS devices.
- Tap “Settings” at the upper-left corner of your screen to return to the notification type selection.
- Once you have finished customizing, return to the main menu by tapping “More” at the upper-left corner of your screen.
Mobile app: Android
- Log in to iAuditor on your mobile device.
- Tap on “… More” at the bottom of your screen.
- Tap on “Settings”.
- Select “Notifications”.
- Select the notification setting you wish to adjust: Push, Email, or SMS
- Toggle settings on/off accordingly. Changes apply to all other platforms when the app syncs.

- Tap the leftward arrow at the upper-left corner of your screen to return to the notification type selection.
- Once you have finished customizing, return to the main menu by tapping the leftward arrow at the upper-left corner of your screen twice.
